I've made a tutorial about this earlier but now I've found a method that is really for free.

Protecting your Habbo retro can be hard, and you usually have to pay a lot for a good reliable protection. However, a known method for DDoS protection has been TCP Reverse Proxy, but you have to pay for it. I've found a way so you don't have to pay for it anymore.

I'll use the website https://www.menialhost.com/ trough the whole tutorial, since it's free and that's the only way to do it for free

1. Enter the your destination IP + Port. Usually port 30000.

2. You will get a proxy IP + proxy port after you purchase, for example "protection.menialhost.com:30482"

3. When you got it, you are going to change details in your client.php like this.

4. In case you wrote the wrong IP or port, you can configure it once you have ordered the product.

And now you are finished.

In case you are using r63 you will have to run this sql aswell.

UPDATE server_settings SET enable_securesessions = '0'; UPDATE server_settings SET enable_antiddos = '1'; UPDATE server_settings SET ip_lastforbans = '1';

This is just a thread for new hotel owners that dont know how to set it up, I know plenty of people probably already know how to, but just in case.If there is anything I should add to this tutorial then just tell me

The Fast Food emulator is developed by me and only me, better networking (netty), also counting wins, games, losses, points etc. Unlike any release. And snowstorm is finished when it comes to the emulator part, not the habbo.swf though as it has to be implemented.

Also, note that this is Comet and no Fast Food emulator that has been released is adaptable to it, they are all obfuscated.

I've finally launched Blib.pw. I've created an hotel which actually have change to become one of the "major" hotels. I feel like every single hotel that opens nowdays, bad or great still shuts down and really doesn't give the big hotels any competition. I've put a lot of time into this hotel and I am very competetive. I will try to make a new hotel grow and make a large userbase.

Aim: We want our hotel to always be uptodate, with the latest and most unique features. We will constantly keep our players maintained. We will offer some great quality and security.

Info that nobody gives a sh*t about anyways: I am the technician (syr), and Ryzen is mainly working on the social part, support, hiring, events, you name it. We are running on an edit of Comet Emulator, mainly some small addons, commandsm edited pathfinder to make specific events working better but also the gamecenter coded. However, if you are any into emulators you know that Comet can handle huge amount of players and is extremely stable. And yes we are DDoS protected, if you don't believe me then try me .

First off, I am not working for https://plusprovider.net

I am simply just making this tutorial with plusprovider as an example as I am using them.

And you are wrong, sure you can get a server for 29$, but I assume that none of you can design a firewall specially to protect attacks hitting reverse proxies.
And you can also buy extra protection on OVH, for upto 1000$, if you'd rather buy that then pay 2.99$ a month then yea go for it!

Btw, a lot of people asked me how to show the real IP when using a proxy, can someone help me answer? I don't really know what they mean

Hi, I see alot of confused retro owners when it comes to setting up a TCP Proxy to hide their IP adress, so i will make a quick guide for everyone that doesnt know how it works.

In case you dont even know why your hotel should use a TCP Proxy then it is because people will be able to find your IP by doing "view-source:hotelname.com/client" or using wireshark.
